Your flock of color flushed!

I had no warning
On my walk this morning
Excess without apology or blush.

Golden trumpets sound
Your floral announcement astounds
Passers-by approve with glee.

Well done, yellow explosion!
An assault of love-in-motion,
Your creator and I agree.

This tree was photographed by me when I was on vacation in Marco Island, Florida. I had never seen such an explosion of bright yellow blossoms among the trees of the North. What a delight!
